Our Family Adventure on the MSC Seashore

If you’re a family looking for an unforgettable vacation that caters to both your needs and those of your young children, we’ve got the scoop on our recent journey aboard the magnificent MSC Seashore. This was our second cruise, and trust us when we say, it did not disappoint!

This elegant ship is literally bursting with activities and amenities that cater to all ages. From mouthwatering food to impeccable service, it’s a floating paradise for families. Our trip began on a sunny Sunday, setting sail from Port Canaveral, and right from the start, we knew we were in for a treat!

Day 1:

The boarding process was a breeze thanks to the MSC for Me app, which allowed us to check in online ahead of time—seriously, a wonderful time-saver! Once aboard, we dropped off our bags in our spacious balcony room (highly recommend the upgrade, folks!) and headed straight to the buffet for a delicious lunch.

Afterward, we joined the sail-away party on the pool deck, where the atmosphere was awesome . The sunset at sea? Absolutely breathtaking! With incredible drinks (yes, your drink package is worth it!) and lively entertainment, it felt like the best start to our family adventure.

Dinner was with a reservation at Central Park Restaurant, where the changing menu offered something new each night. Families with kids will appreciate the variety, ensuring even your pickiest eaters will find something delicious.

Day 2: Ocean Cay, Bahamas

MSC’s private island, Ocean Cay, was a highlight of our trip. We spent the entire day soaking up the sun, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and relaxing on stunning beaches. With the drink package, all beverages were included, letting us focus completely on family fun without worrying about the tabs!

The day ended in a beach party and lighthouse show on the island, creating lasting memories with our kids.

Day 3: Sea Day

Our third day turned into a Sea Day, but that didn't stop us from having a blast! The kids loved spending time in the arcade and exploring this massive ship. Meanwhile, Hubby and I treated ourselves to a spa day at the thermal spa, which was wonderful. 

Later, we joined the special Sea Day brunch, a delightful meal with endless options. Here’s a hot tip—make sure to dress up for the themed nights. Our kids loved elegant night, which made for fantastic family photos!

Day 4: Costa Maya

After breakfast, we ventured into Costa Maya. Stumbling upon a local beach club with a lovely pool and beach area. As long as you indulged in food or drinks, beach chairs were free, making it a perfect spot for families.

That night, the whole ship came alive for White Night. Everyone dressed in whites, and the activities were a hit with our kids, who enjoyed every minute!

Day 5: Fun at Mr. Sancho’s Beach Club, Cozumel

For Cozumel, we opted for Mr. Sancho’s Beach Club, which turned out to be a fabulous decision! With everything, from a buffet to inflatable water parks, this all-inclusive spot was a child-friendly haven. Taxis were simple to navigate, and our kids couldn’t get enough of the beach and water activities.

After a few more hours in the main pool back on board, exhaustion set in—it was a day well spent!

Day 6: Final Day, Sea Day

Our last day on the MSC Seashore was the perfect way to wind down. The sun was shining, and the kids wasted no time on the waterslides and playing foosball. The silent disco that evening was a family favorite—everyone looked hilarious and joyful with headphones on, dancing to their own beats.

As the trip came to a close, we made sure to pick up some souvenirs with our on-board credit, preserving the beautiful memories of our voyage.

**Smooth Sailing Home**

Debarkation was incredibly smooth; we were off the ship in just 15 minutes! This short and efficient process capped off our fantastic family vacation.
